Violations Forms can be found here.  Return this form to the Office of Student Government & Student Organizations.  Please note, you must list complainant information on this form.  Complainant information will not be confidential.
 
 
 Candidate Reminders
  • Please note that on page 16 of the Candidates Packet, it states that "Flyer size limit is 11x17. This applies for all fliers and posters in all locations.” Although the posting regulations listed on pages 13-15 may state otherwise, all campaign flyers are limited to 11x17
  • Do not use any live links to USC websites on your personal candidate webpage. This includes VIP, the candidates webpage on the SG website, etc
  • Do not use the candidate pictures from the candidates webpage on the SG website
  • Candidates are permitted to run ads in the Daily Gamecock.
  • Violations may only be filed during regular business hours (8:30-5, M-F) and MUST be turned into the front desk. Please do not put the violation in the notebook yourself.
  • Until we receive definitive answers from several campus entities, the use of golf carts is not permitted.
  • It has been decided by the Commission that "Cocky" is considered a trademarked logo
  • Remember that all campaign material is the responsibility of the candidate and his/her staff. 
  • Student organizations are permitted to sponsor a candidate. Fraternities and sororities can hang banners in support of a candidate as long as they have written permission from the student organization, the house director, and the Office of Greek Life.

Application, filing fee and platform are due at the time of filing.  Photos for the candidates' webpage will be taken at this time.

Mandatory Candidates Meeting
January 29th, 6:00pm, SENATORIAL CANDIDATES, RH Theater
January 29th, 7:00pm, EXECUTIVE CANDIDATES, RH Theater
All candidates must attend this meeting!  Campaigning may not begin until 8:30 p.m. after this meeting.

February 13th, 12:00pm, Greene Street Stage
Come hear what the candidates have to say.  President, Vice President, & Treasurer Candidates will be answering questions from students and letting them know why they want to serve YOU!
