President
Jotaka L. Eaddy |
Jotaka was very successful in
achieving goals set in her "Contract for Carolina." Items
included were: Service 101 (service course which was offered in
Fall 2001), Safety (Night Shuttle implementation), Sixth Man
Club (seating section for USC students at basketball games) and
the Drop Date Extension (still in progress). Jotaka tirelessly
worked to stop budget cuts from becoming reality. Her
administration also saw the creation of the Student Business
Incubator Center. |

Corey insured that Senate
meetings ran efficiently during his term. Corey put a great
deal of time and energy into fighting budget cuts. He
successfully ran for Student Body President (2001-2002) on a
platform including Safety and the creation of the Campus
Activist Network in order to better lobby for students' needs. |
