Student Organization Treasurers’ Resource Center
Greetings,
I extend my welcome to all the treasurers and officers
of student organization. I am excited to serve as
your Student Body Treasurer, and I hope that you will
make use of me as both a resource for the financial
process and a voice to the administration. I will work
for the next year and beyond to assist organizations and
push for increased efficiency in allocations.
Please take advantage of this resource center as well as
your assigned Student Comptroller. These members will
assist your organization and answer any questions you
may have. Please feel free to contact me at any time and
know that I am here to help student organizations. I
look forward to working with you all over the next year.

TREASURERS’ MANUAL & FINANCE CODES
The
2007-2008 Treasurers' Manual
is a useful tool that can answer many of your
organization's financial questions.
The
Student Senate Finance Codes
are the official rules that govern all student
organization finances including regulations on who is
eligible for funding, descriptions of different types of
funding, as well as restrictions that may apply to
student activity funding.
STUDENT COMPTROLLERS
Student Comptrollers have been appointed to assist
organizations with their financial concerns,
particularly
the budget process. These officials will be available
to help student organizations prepare their budgets and
properly complete required paperwork. To receive
assistance from a Comptroller, please contact Student
Government Treasurer, Jonathan Antonio for the contact
information of your assigned Comptroller.
MAILBOXES
Each Student Organization has been given a mailbox
located next to the Student Government and Student
Organization Office (227 Russell House). It is your
organization’s responsibility to check the box
regularly.
We will occasionally provide you with important
information in these boxes, and Student Government will
not be held accountable for your not knowing this
information due to not checking your mailbox on a
regular basis.
